Learn basic kanji through kanji words:

GENKI Kanji for 3rd Ed. is an application designed to aid users in recognizing 317 fundamental kanji characters by studying over 1,100 kanji words at their own pace.

This mobile app is the official iPhone offering from the 3rd edition of GENKI: An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese, a highly-regarded series of Japanese educational resources that has achieved over 2 million copies in sales.

<li>Users can mark favorite kanji words for quick reference in the Bookmark list under "List."</li>

<li>Check Mode: Aids learners in assessing their progress.

<li>Users evaluate their comprehension of studied kanji words and categorize them based on mastery levels.</li>
<li>Kanji words already mastered are excluded from the study set, streamlining focus on remaining challenging terms.</li>

<li>List Mode: Presents comprehensive lists of covered words and kanji characters for progress tracking and review purposes.
<ul>
<li>List organization options include lesson order, a-i-u-e-o order, or alphabetical order with checkmarks denoting mastered words.</li>
<li>Kanji details from the On/Kun list can be accessed directly from the cards.</li>
<li>Users can search for specific kanji words using the Serial # list.</li>
<li>Bookmarked words from the Study mode are also accessible in the Bookmark list for quick retrieval.</li>
<li>The Study view of kanji words or target characters can be swiftly accessed from list entries for efficient review.</li>
